Time truly does fly! It feels like only yesterday I was immersed in the vibrant energy of Rajasthan, and suddenly, we are already in the middle of May. 🌸 It has been a whirlwind of a season, and I wanted to take a moment to catch you all up on the latest happenings here at the boutique. 👗

Market Highlights & New Arrivals ☀️👜

The Ringwood Artisan Market in April was a spectacular day. I adore my local market community—we really are like a family—and the sunshine made the day even brighter. ☀️

Our New 2026 Collections were a massive hit! The feedback on our new designs has been incredible, specifically:

• Leather Bags: Fringed styles, cowhide, and our signature recycled colored leather. 🎒

• Travel Essentials: Our brand-new Cowhide Suitcases and Duffle Bags were the stars of the show. ✈️🧳

• The Saree Collection: The 2026 Recycled Saree Jumpsuits and Dresses are officially here. Because every piece is 100% unique, I don’t list these on Etsy or the website—they are exclusive to my in-person clients, HIckstead Derby, New Forest Show, Hickstead Royal Agria in July & Whatnot shows! 🌈✨

The Road to Hickstead 🏇🏆

The "big one" is almost here! The Al Shira’aa Hickstead International Derby is just around the corner in mid-June. This will be our fourth year at our usual pitch, and I couldn't be more excited. Hickstead holds a very special place in my heart. ❤️

July, find us at The Agria Royal International Horse Show & from there we go straight on to The New Forest Show 🌟

While I was disappointed to miss the Premier League Dressage CDI due to the sheer volume of "behind-the-scenes" work, my priority is always ensuring my clients are looked after. ✅

August we head to our local Artisan Market Ringwood & our favourite Steam & Vintage Fest Fordingbridge! 

PLUS I will also be exhibiting my late Father's David Hiscock Vintage John Deere Tractors to the last two!  

Keeping it Real 🤝🌿

You may have noticed fewer social media reels lately. To be honest, I simply haven’t had the time! While I know reels are great for sales, I have a firm rule: No AI. I know the world is moving in that direction, but I flatly refuse to use it. At JayKay Boutique, what you see is what you get. I prefer to keep things authentic and "real," even if it means things take a little longer. 🧵🙏

I also have to share some fantastic news for my USA clients: With the recent changes to shipping tariffs, I am thrilled to be supplying the US again without those astronomical 50% duties. It’s a relief to get back to fair pricing for my overseas friends! 🇺🇸📦

I am still tucked away in the showroom, photographing and listing the rest of the 2026 designs as quickly as I can. Behind the scenes, I’m also grateful for my "secret weapon," Limarah. She lives locally and is an absolute whiz at the e-commerce tech that I sometimes struggle with—she keeps the engine running so I can focus on the beautiful stock and on you! 👩💻✨
